A truly Japanese experience with famous hot springs, gourmet Japanese cuisine, and a stunning volcanic mountain landscape. The onsen was special with both indoor and outdoor baths. The staff went above and beyond, even cleaning cars in the snow.
Could not be improved.

The staff was incredibly kind and provided excellent service. They even drove us to the nearby ski resort and gave us helpful information about the onsen. Speaking of which, the onsen at this place was top notch. There were both indoor and outdoor pools to choose from, and the setting was so tranquil. After a relaxing soak, I enjoyed a delicious dinner in the dining hall. The food was prepared with care and attention, and included a variety of tasty dishes. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and I had one of the most comfortable futons I've ever slept on.
This hotel is truly a gem and I recommend it to everyone.

Had the best time, amazing staff who patiently explained onsen and dining hours, great traditional Japanese meals included, comfortable and clean rooms, and beautiful onsens with hot and medium tubs.
The bathroom was a bit small and not the greatest, but it didn't matter much because the onsen area has great shower facilities.

Nestled in the beautiful mountains, this hotel offers a tranquil getaway with easy access to various attractions like the cable car station. the onsen experience is unforgettable- with indoor and outdoor hot springs boasting different temperatures. the meals are an experience in themselves with multi-course Japanese dishes that are aesthetically presented. Rooms are cozy and modern with comfortable futons, offering a great night's sleep.
The building shows its age, with some of the facilities not being up to modern standards.

Beautiful Nature and Great Food Spent Easter weekend at a hotel near Daisetsuzan National Park. the location was perfect as it was close to a cable car station and the scenery was breathtaking. the traditional Japanese food offered was delicious and beautifully presented. the staff was friendly and attentive, and the onsen baths were relaxing.
Old Rooms and Limited English the hotel itself was quite outdated and in need of a renovation, especially the room we stayed in. the language barrier was also an issue, as the staff had limited English skills, which made it difficult to communicate effectively.

I had an amazing stay in this hotel located in the mountains. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Ropeway station. The facilities were great with indoor and outdoor onsen pools. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive and the staff were very courteous. Breakfast was a delicious traditional Japanese meal.
Nothing not to love.
